You can now connect Eva to the AI app you already use, like Claude or ChatGPT, and simply ask about your business in plain language. How many clients do I have? What is my revenue this month? Who needs my attention today? Eva answers from your real numbers, right inside your AI assistant. This guide walks you through it, step by step, and you do not need any tech skills.
What this does
Once connected, your AI assistant can ask Eva about your business and read the answer back to you. It is read only, and that is the important part: Eva shows you the numbers, but she never changes anything. Nobody can book, edit, cancel, or delete through this connection. Think of it as a window into your business, not a set of controls.
What you will need
Two things, and you already have both:
- The Eva connection address: https://app.followeva.com/api/mcp You will paste this in once.
- Your usual Eva login. When your AI app asks you to sign in, you use the same email and password you use for Eva. There is no token or secret code to copy anywhere.
Connect from Claude
In the Claude app, follow these steps:
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector.
- Paste the address: https://app.followeva.com/api/mcp
- Click to connect, and sign in with your Eva account.
- Approve the access when Claude asks. That is it.
From now on you can ask Claude about your business and it will quietly check with Eva.
Connect from ChatGPT
ChatGPT has one extra setting to get right, so follow these in order:
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Turn on Developer Mode.
- Click Create connector and paste the address: https://app.followeva.com/api/mcp
- Choose OAuth as the sign-in method.
- Open the advanced OAuth settings and choose DCR. This one matters: pick DCR, not CIMD.
- Connect, sign in with your Eva account, and approve the access.
Using Gemini?
Not yet. Google's consumer Gemini app does not offer a custom connector option today, so there is no way to connect Eva to it for now. We will revisit this as soon as Gemini supports it. For now, Claude and ChatGPT are your two options.
Questions you can ask
Once connected, just ask in your own words. A few examples to get you started:
- How many clients do I have?
- Show me my clients.
- Who are my best clients?
- What is my revenue this month?
- What needs my attention?
You do not need special wording. Ask the way you would ask a person.
What Eva can see (and what she cannot)
Through this connection, Eva can look up ten things about your business, all read only:
- A clients overview
- Your full client list
- A search for a specific client
- Your top clients
- Your revenue for the month
- Today's schedule
- Overdue invoices
- Quotes to follow up on
- Inactive clients
- A digest of what needs your attention
That is the full list. She cannot make any changes through this connection, so it is safe to connect and explore.
Troubleshooting
Two issues come up most often, and both are quick to fix:
- ChatGPT says "no actions available" or nothing happens. This almost always means it was added with CIMD instead of DCR. Remove the connector, add it again, and choose DCR in the advanced OAuth settings.
- It will not sign you in. Make sure you are signing in with your Eva account, the same email and password you use for Eva itself, not a different login.
